The rooms were comfortable and homely, with hot showers and TV. The location was excellent, right in the center of Hampi Bazaar, making it easy to explore the temples and have easy access to the other side of the river. The owner, Kish, was super friendly and lovely. He had two adorable pet dogs and was always willing to help arrange travel services for guests.

The Wi-Fi was a little temperamental at times, which was a bit frustrating. the restaurant next door was not up to par and the options for refreshments, including drinkable water in the room, were limited.

It had exceptionally comfortable bed, views of the lake. It was located in a pretty nice area close enough to the center of Hampi Bazaar, the main market street of Hampi and the Bazaar, which is really the preserve of Indian tourists coming to the temple for pilgrimage,...

Conveniently located near the Virupaksha temple and with great dining options at Chill Out, it made exploring the town effortless. a fantastic option for a comfortable and memorable stay.

The brand-new room with a double bed was perfect for our stay. The location was fantastic, right beside the Virupaksha temple, and we enjoyed the beautiful sunset views. The attached restaurant served delicious Indian meals.

The location of the guesthouse is very convenient, as it is close to the Virupaksha temple and the riverside. It is also near the ruins and other tourist places. The room and bathroom were clean and decently sized, providing a comfortable stay. The staff at the hotel restaurant was friendly and served a delicious breakfast. the guesthouse offered easy payment options through Gpay. However, the AC and hot water facilities were inconsistent.

The owner was dishonest and took advantage of tourists by charging more for bus tickets.

The rooms at Thilak Home Stay were absolutely perfect for me. The private bathroom was a game-changer. I had my own space to freshen up after a long day of exploring Hampi, and it made me feel like I had a little slice of comfort all to myself.

The only thing I didn't particularly love was the free toiletries. They weren't my personal favorite, but hey, everyone has their own preferences, right?

We stayed off season in Hampi so things were a bit cheaper. Originally booked for 1 night and extended to 3 nights at Thilak. The room was really clean with a matching ensuite bathroom. The sleep quality was good, noise levels were low. The location of Thilak is central to everything and tied to the best cafe-lounge in the village, Chillout. Breakfasts were free and good, and the rooms were spacious and clean. The proprietor was warm and helpful, offering advice and helping to book autos. a very good experience.

Would definitely recommend this hotel.

Family-friendly homestay in the heart of Hampi with comfortable rooms, hot water, and helpful owner. Prime location near Virupaksha Temple, main market street, and Mango Tree Restaurant. Basic necessities like AC, 24 hr hot water, WC, and WiFi. Owner guides guests on sightseeing in Hampi. Good A/C and fan in the room, with views to the temple from the terrace. Close to restaurants, grocery shops, and market. They arrange tuk tuk pick up and drop off at a reasonable price. Host, Kish, provides excellent communication and assistance with train station pick-up, transportation, and day trips.

The rooms at this home stay were exceptionally clean and well-maintained. the bathroom was also very clean and tidy. the views from the rooftop were stunning, especially during the sunset. It was a perfect spot to relax and unwind. Another great aspect was the free WiFi which was available in all rooms. It was great to be able to access the internet from the comfort of my bed.

I spent two days here and didn't have any interaction with the staff except for a minimal response from one of the family members on the second day. the lack of storage space in the room was a bit inconvenient.
